Questions we ask that lead us to solutions and positivity are extremely helpful and useful. But we sometimes tend to ask ourselves dead end questions. These are the ones that lead us in a downward spiral and cause us to only find support for the negative. This is why it’s so important to really think about how you phrase questions to yourself and others. It can completely change the outcome.

As I have worked and coached myself and others to ask more positive questions, I’ve found there is tremendous power in them. The right questions can make all the difference. So in the spirit of asking myself questions that are upward moving and cause me to think creatively, I’m asking myself–and invite you to ask yourself–What if today was your last day?

“If today was the last day of my life, how would I show up differently to everything I’m already planning on doing?... So far it’s really made the small, normal routine events of my day to day more meaningful, more poignant, more powerful… It’s created a lot more of a sense of gratitude and abundance.” – Dr. Sara Dill
